Malaysia day 5: bird park&China town Kuala Lumpur

This was my last full day in Malaysia unfortunately. I made the most of it though! First I went to the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park. It's basically a fake jungle complete with waterfalls and there are lots of different kinds of birds that just walk and fly around freely. Half way throught the park I decided to have a break from the heat. I bought a fresh coconut and sat down at one of the tables in the shadow. After the bird park I went to Chinatown. I had some lunch in a restaurant called 'Old China'. Afterwards I went to see all of the different markets in this area. You can basically buy anything you want here, lot's of fake designer stuff as well.

Malaysia day 4: typical local house in Malacca and going to KL

To make the most of the last full day I had left in Malacca, I decided to go to a small museum that actually used to be someones house. It shows visitors what people used to live like about a 100 years ago and it was lovely. After the museum I went to have breakfast at a restaurant I saw the day before. And after the delicious waffle I had there, I walked over to the observation tower. Provided a 360 degrees view over the city, which was lovely. It was up there that I realised how close all of the tourist attractions were together. Then I had to take an Uber to get to the hotel to get my stuff. Another Uber took me to my next destination: Kuala Lumpur!

Malaysia day 3: historic city of Malacca

New day new adventures. After sleeping really well the first night in the hotel I woke up without feeling jetlagged. I honestly don't know how I did that. I decided to have breakfast somewhere outside of the hotel and so I walked to the shoppingstreets closest to me. Eventually I ended up in a nice little restaurant. What I had: rice with three different sauces and a naan bread the size of my head! After breakfast I decided to go into the city centre where all of the historic buildings are. And I went on a river cruise after that, took about half an hour and it was lovely.
